Embargo on Landlord Insurance Policies Lifted

During the first months of the COVID-19 outbreak, many Landlord Insurance companies placed embargos on new policies, to ensure they could continue to service and cover existing clients and policies effectively.

With the pandemic stabilising, we have been advised that Terri Scheer - Australia's Leading Landlord Insurance Specialists have lifted their embargo. This means, that they are once again issuing Landlord insurance products for new clients, particularly covering loss of rent.

Landlord insurance policies are designed to protect landlords from many of the tenant related risks of property investment, depending on your policy you can be covered for;

  • Tenant damage to building and contents

  • Tenant related loss of rent

  • Re-letting expenses greater than the bond

  • Legal Liability

  • Pet damage

  • Cover for fixed term and periodic leases

Should you be seeking a new policy from Terri Scheer then this is now possible. We've included below an overview of the policy offered with Terri Scheer.

Please note: Any enquiries about the insurance products provided must be directed to Terri Scheer and this contact is not intended as advice relating to insurance policies. We make a general recommendations to all of our Landlords to have a landlord insurance policy in place with their preferred provider.
