The Privacy Act 1998 (Cth) regulates the collection and use, disclosure and maintenance of personal information collected by Belle Property Illawarra (Real Estate Agents) from clients, customers and the public (You). Your information may also be disclosed to and collected by Belle Property Australasia Pty Limited [ACN127 694 204], Hocking Stuart Pty Limited [ACN 006 676 802] and their related entities.  “We”, “us”, “our” and the like refer to Belle Property, Acton I Belle Property, Hockingstuart and the Real Estate Agents.

 

Our Office collects various information from property owners, buyers, tenants and landlords that includes:- name, contact details, banking details and other personal and sensitive information in order that we may service our clients and customers.

 

Your information is collected broadly for the following reasons:-

 

1.  security reasons;

 

2.  If you consent, to allow us to contact you via phone, SMS or email to inform you of the outcome of your enquiry;

 

3.  If you consent, to inform you of properties that may suit your needs;

 

4.   If you consent, to send you information from time to time regarding the local property market; and

 

5.   To enable us to give feedback to the property owner regarding interest in the property. In this case only your given name will be disclosed to the property owner.

 

We may also use your information for our internal purposes.

 

Except for the purposes indicated above, your personal information will generally NOT be disclosed to any other third party without your written consent.  Our employees, related bodies corporate, personnel, suppliers and service providers may have access to the personal information for the above purposes.

 

All personal information we collect is held either electronically or in hard copy in our office in a secure manner. It will not be disclosed to recipients outside Australia without your written permission, unless required by law.

 

Our Privacy Policy, available online, contains information about how you may request access and correction to your personal information, how you may make a privacy complaint, and how we will deal with such privacy complaint.

- The right to correct the information if it is not accurate, up to date or complete.
