Moratorium on Residential Tenancy Evictions - COVID-19

Coronavirus (COVID-19) has already had a significant impact on the economy. The NSW government is introducing measures to help landlords and tenants work together.


They have introduced an interim 60-day stop on landlords seeking to evict tenants due to rental arrears as a result of COVID-19, together with longer six-month restrictions on rental arrears evictions for those financially disadvantaged by COVID-19 as well as amendments to alternative termination notices such as End of Fixed term. This won’t have an impact on all tenancies, however, if your tenancy has been affected, we will be in immediate contact with you to discuss.
